Second Weekend Under Our Belt, Which We Can Now Tighten

Settle down, I have never seen anyone get so excited over silverware!

Friday night after Melissa got off work we went out exploring Kennedy Town and found an Asian "fusion" restaurant. We had Pad Thai with seafood (mussels, clams, and calamari) and Vietnamese style (whatever that means) roasted quail.  Both were excellent, but we are happier about the fact that we finally found a decent restaurant with an English menu in this very "local" neighborhood where hole in the wall noodle shops with Chinese menus only are a dime a dozen.

We have lost some weight due to the walking I am sure,  but more than that is the chopsticks.  We toyed around with them at Pei Wei back home, but could toss them when we get frustrated.  Here they don't set them out for you, and we want to be polite and at least try.  I must say I am getting better, and from the looks of Melissa's plate above, she is getting by.  But, dont ask us to catch any flies with our chopsticks any time soon... or ever for that matter.
Is it quail or chicken? Regardless it was good and nice presentation too!
Saturday morning we were all pumped up about getting our iPhones, but choosing a phone and plan would have been too easy. They would not accept our temporary HKID, WTH! I must say that put a damper on the rest of the day as we won't get our permanent cards for another month. I have found a very cool iPhone guided tour application I have been dying to try out.

Sunday we went furniture shopping.  I found a store with a small store front in the Prince's Building (Melissa's building) that had some decent things, so we cab'd it to the  other side of the island to check out their full line.  As the taxi pulled up, I knew this place was going to be expensive as the ground floor was the HK Ferrari and Masarrati dealership, WOW.  The only problem now is our apartment is not big enough for the pieces we want... what to do? Going from a king to a double, I hope not!

A few people have asked why there are no pictures of me, well... I got a "Chinese haircut" and don't feel like showing it off!  I don't know what I was thinking.. or was I?
