Blog People?

Hmm...I don't know if we're really "blog people," but since so many people suggested it to us, we have decided to at least give it a try. We'll see how it goes. We're hoping that our posts aren't boring but more than that, we're hoping that this blog will be just another way for us to keep in touch with everyone at home. 

So....here goes nothing...

Well...we finally made it! We arrived in Hong Kong late last night - and miraculously so did all of our 13 bags!

That is not even all of them!

For the next month or so we are staying in a temporary apartment in Kennedy Town (on HK Island). It's a cute apartment and the owners are really nice & have been very helpful.

We went apartment hunting with our real estate agent this morning and then we had a late lunch at a Thai restaurant in Soho, a few blocks from one of the apartments we really like. We also attempted(!) to get cell phone service. Apparently, that process is not as easy as it would seem so our new goal is to get this taken care of before next(!) weekend.

It's a lot to take in but we're excited and looking forward to everything that lies ahead. We look forward to sharing our experiences with you and we hope that you'll keep us updated on what's going on at home as well.
